Open Door Art Studio would not be quite the same without Jesse Artrip. Jesse is proud of contributing to the name of the studio.
He chose “Open Door” because he envisioned a place that was open to all different kinds of people. He is happy to report that his dream has been realized and he loves coming to Open Door to express himself through art.
According to Jesse, artistic talent is “a gift from God” and he loves putting his talents to use. He prefers to illustrate in a representational style and has been drawing since he was a young child.
Although most well known for his busty pin-up girls, he draws a variety of subjects including superheroes, cars, and jets.
He also has an interest in science fiction which sneaks into his art now and then. Jesse dreams of one day creating his own comic book characters and turning them into a full length comic.
