Heather Hammell, a young woman from central Ohio, recently discovered her love of art.
She adores animals and many of her drawings feature cute and cuddly creatures. Her illustrated animals typically have smaller heads and elongated limbs.
This slight abstraction lends a unique style to her creations and makes them immediately visible as Heather’s. Some of her illustrations are further transformed into wood cut-outs or paintings.
She loves to experiment and since she is relatively new to art she has much exploration ahead of her.
Her sketchbook is becoming a more and more diverse collection of imagery. This shows Heather’s amazing artistic growth in a relatively short time. When not at the studio Heather enjoys scrapbooking, reading, and shopping.
She is very close with her family, especially her two sisters and four nieces and nephews. Heather is truly a sweetheart and her exuberance is contagious at the studio.
